Legal Requirements Marriage licenses are issued to couples in person at the Registrar Office in Nadi, from Monday to Friday only. You may need to spend a night on the mainland due to flight arrival times. In this instance Vomo can arrange transfers for you and your fiance to Nadi to complete license formalities. You will be required to provide original copies of your birth certificates and passports. If either partner has been married, either a Decree Absolute or Death Certificate is required. If either person is under 21 years of age, his or her parent must be present to sign a consent form witnessed by the Registrar. Weddings may be held on any day of the week and Vomo staff members will happily attend the wedding and sign your Marriage Certificate as witnesses if required.
